Fax to and from the cloud
GFI Online Fax Services uses a geographically distributed network to ensure continued high availability for your fax communications. GFI Online Fax Services enables you to utilize GFI FaxMaker server solution to send and receive faxes over the Internet. This eliminates the need for telephone lines, expensive fax boards, modems or even fax over IP software.
Using GFI Online Fax Services with GFI FaxMaker allows you to eliminate monthly phone line expenses and only pay for fax pages sent and received through the service.
How GFI Online Fax Services works
A fax is submitted to GFI FaxMaker, where the image is converted and then transmitted via a secure HTTPS to the GFI Online Fax Service. Upon completion of the fax, a confirmation is sent back to the GFI FaxMaker server, which then delivers the status report to the user.
You can make use of the dedicated fax number(s) issued to you by GFI online fax service and/or port your existing number. A fax is received by the GFI Online Fax Services, identified as your fax, based upon the number that was called, and transmitted via HTTPS to your GFI FaxMaker fax server. Once received, GFI FaxMaker renders the image in the format you have chosen and the fax is routed to the intended recipient’s inbox.
